FIXIT currently serves Michigan, USA. We focus on one market so we can do it well before expanding to additional states.
How do I book a contractor?
Download the FIXIT app (iOS or Android), describe the job, browse verified contractor profiles with ratings and real reviews, and book an appointment directly in the app.
How are contractors verified?
FIXIT verifies contractor identity and business information, and publishes real homeowner reviews and ratings on each profile. We do not currently perform criminal background checks — see our Terms for details.
How much does FIXIT cost homeowners?
The FIXIT app is free to download and use. You only pay the contractor for the job you book — and you see the estimate upfront before you confirm.
How much does FIXIT cost contractors?
FIXIT is currently FREE for contractors during our launch — no lead fees, no monthly subscription, and no contracts. Regular pricing would be $49.99/month; during launch it is $0.
Can I cancel an appointment?
Yes. You can request to cancel an appointment from inside the app. Cancellation rules depend on how close you are to the scheduled time and are shown before you book.
Do I have to leave a review?
Reviews are optional, but they help other homeowners and reward great contractors. After a completed job you can rate your contractor and leave a public review.
What kinds of jobs can I book on FIXIT?
Plumbing, electrical, installation, appliance repair, home decor, painting, flooring, HVAC, roofing, landscaping, and more. If it's a home repair or improvement, we likely have a pro for it.
